Support Programs

We believe we have a responsibility to contribute to the communities in which we operate.

Our community support initiatives enable us to form relationships with organisations and groups that reflect and share our values, and together, we can create outcomes that truly benefit our community and the environment.

Our community programs aim to meet one or more of the following objectives:

  • Promote overall community involvement
  • Promote physical or mental health through activity
  • Implement community-generated programs to improve local amenities and the environment
  • Promote and assist in the education of our local community

Our Community Support Program (CSP) and the Community Partnership Program are the two key initiatives that help us deliver funding.

Community Support Program (CSP)

Our CSP is aimed at community groups and organisations looking for funding assistance with an event, a small project or to purchase equipment. The CSP is open for applications biannually in March and September each year.

Generally, grants of between $1,000 and $10,000 are made, and typically require a 50% contribution to a project where there are existing funding or partnerships already in place. This helps ensure the project is not solely reliant on NCIG funding and therefore its resilience.

Applications to our current round of funding have closed.

Our next Community Support Program (CSP) round will open in September 2022.

Community Partnership Program (CPP)

The CPP is a three-year program designed to develop a close association with an organisation or group, and provide financial support to implement a grassroots project of significance that benefits the wider community.

NCIG places a strong emphasis on projects or programs that fall under one of our community investment focus areas of community, environment, health and education.

Funding of up to $30,000 per year is available, with a cap of $90,000 across a three-year partnership.
