Engagement

Our stakeholder relationships are central to our business and our success, and we work closely with our stakeholders to understand their expectations and concerns. We’re committed to maintaining strong relationships with our local community and other stakeholders, to deliver positive business outcomes.

We provide various opportunities for active communication and dialogue with our key stakeholders and the local community through our Community Engagement Group, our 24-hour phone line and email, and our social media channels and newsletters. These opportunities offer a chance for meaningful engagement and positive interactions with our stakeholders and local community groups, which contribute to NCIG maintaining our social licence to operate.

Community Engagement Group

NCIG established a Community Engagement Group in (CEG) 2019 to better understand the needs of the local community. Comprised of community representatives covering local geographic areas around our operation, the CEG is an avenue to communicate information about our operations and to give a voice to community members on matters important to them. This typically includes our operational activities, environmental performance and community investment initiatives.

You can view the meeting minutes from all Community Engagement Group meetings below.

24-hour Enquiries

NCIG has established a 24-hour community enquiries service to allow community members to contact NCIG directly to discuss both urgent and non-urgent matters at a time that suits them. These channels are available to receive requests for information or queries about our operations or community engagement activities.

Social Media

NCIG is active on social media channels where we share insights into our operations, achievements and opportunities across the business. You can follow our Facebook and LinkedIn accounts to stay up-to-date with everything happening on the day-to-day of operations.

Community Newsletters

Keeping our community up to date with our latest news is important to us so we regularly distribute a Community Newsletter, providing a summary of recent operations and achievements of our team. You can view our previous newsletters and sign up to our email subscribers list to ensure you receive our next edition in your inbox.
