2020 marks an important milestone in the history of Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group. It was ten years ago our organisation officially opened for operations and the foundations of excellence were established for NCIG.
Our Ten Year Anniversary is a celebration in which we hope to share with our staff, contractors and our community. Throughout 2020 we will hold a series of celebratory events which will include all the people – past and present, who have shaped us into the great organisation we are today.
The celebrations will coincide with the milestones of 2010, such as the first sacrificial coal delivered to site on 17 February, the first ship loaded on 23 March and the practical completion of construction in May.
