Terms and Conditions of entry

These Event Terms (Terms) govern your attendance at the NCIG Family and Community Open Day (the Event). It is your responsibility to review these Terms prior to the reservation of tickets. By reserving tickets you agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time, and will provide the most recent version on our website.  

Throughout these Terms, the terms “NCIG”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group and its associated entities, and “you” refers to the individual reserving tickets or attending the Event.  

1. Event attendance  
1.1. You agree to remain within the designated event area as demarcated on the day.  
1.2. You agree to wear enclosed shoes at all times while attending the event.  
1.3. You agree to follow any and all instructions from NCIG staff related to safety and health and wellbeing matters.  
1.4. You agree to have a drug and alcohol level of zero upon entering the NCIG grounds.  
1.5. You agree that if you are exhibiting flu-like symptoms that you will not attend on the day or have taken a COVID-test prior to attending that returned a negative result.   
1.6. You agree that failure to meet any of the above requirements will result in your refusal of entry.   

2. Event Conduct  
2.1. You are expected to behave in a professional and appropriate manner at the Event. We reserve the right to refuse entry or require you to leave if your behavior is deemed unacceptable at the discretion of Event organisers or designated security team.  
2.2. If you are supervising a child, you accept responsibility for them, including their whereabouts and their lawful use of seatbelts when travelling on the bus if undertaking a site tour, with the exception of small children sitting on the lap of their caretaker 
2.3. You acknowledge that cameras, audio and video recorders will be used throughout the event and your image may be recorded and used for marketing purposes unless expressly advised otherwise.
