The weather event that took place from 18-23 March provided an opportunity to complete maintenance work on shiploader #1. While NCIG management’s original estimate of the time to complete the repairs was two weeks, work has proceeded much better than anticipated, such that we are now forecasting a return to service date of Tuesday 30th March.
Rapid mobilization of contractors, together with completion of workstreams concurrently have combined to shorten the actual work period.
In relation to the repair of shiploader #2, schedule optimisation has meant that work is progressing ahead of our initial schedule with an anticipated full return to service early in Q4 2021.
