Hunter Women’s Centre is an amazing community organisation providing care and assistance to local women who are experiencing difficulties and disadvantages in accessing the services they require, ensuring their health and well-being is maintained and prioritised.
NCIG has been proud to support this organisation through our Community Support Program (CSP) providing much needed funding for upgrades and equipment purchases. Our Process Advisor team has been doing even more though, donating their time to help with maintenance work at the Centre to make their workplace more presentable and comfortable for clients.
Our team gave their kitchen a makeover, giving the counsellors a great new space away from their offices, and did some other handy jobs around the place, like repairing cracked walls, replastering brickwork and skirting, and painting doors and walls. We also tidied up their garden to make a beautiful outdoor space for everyone to enjoy.
